i'd imagine it could get a bit boring. the first deal you work on would involve EDF. the second would also involve EDF. etc. the work might be varied in the practice areas but it would be the same client every time! not necessarily a bad thing, but at a city firm you'd work on a variety of deals and projects.

also, i believe you're meant to do litigation as one seat of your training contract (required by the law society). that would be done best at a law firm i'd imagine.
