i'm an international applicant who sent off my UCAS application more than a month ago, but i still havnt heard from any universities except a very short confirmation from one(found it in my junk inbox)......and my Track page is just as it was on the first day....is this normal?? when do they usually update Track? do universities contact us through email or through track?

u aren't just looking at the front page - one that says "ur app has been processed blah blah"

check the menu at the top (choices, personal etc)

if they are all the same, relax - im sure its getting worked on.

Chances are if you're not applying to oxbridge/medicine/dentistry/vet then you might not even be looked at until after the 17th. Also the universities don't have to legally send you a reply until 9th May I think, so just patient, we all have to be
A quite important epistemology (ToK) question:

What is normal? Whose authority is it to determine/define normality?

Last time I checked; being normal was being abnormal. Thus, I do believe your application is under process. She'll be right.
