Has anyone here been on a gap year in NZ?
Hoping to go there in the new year but not sure if I can afford it ( flights are so expensive ). Had originally planned on buying a campervan over there with my girlfriend but this seems like a lot of hassle!

You can get cars and minivans etc from most youth hostels that are being sold on by previous gap yearers
fairly cheap too! going to NZ is definitely worth it - it's an amazing place
I'm hoping to go to NZ next year for my gap year. If you pick up a TNT (magazine for Aussies, Kiwis and South Africans) at most tube stations they have a huge load of adverts at the back including many cheap(er) flights to NZ. Its definitely worth checking out. What are you planning to do over there?

By working full time. In New Zealand, I'm staying with a friend, so I don't have to pay for accommodation there, but I'm not sure whether I'm going to be able to afford India, its just plans! Chill!

Yeah I found that campervan site a while ago when searching for campervans in NZ. Cool aren't they?!
