Hi, I lived in Butlers, and it is true that sometimes it can be a bit boring.

About proximity it is important for some reasons. First of all you can save money because you do not need public transports to visit the school. Second it is very helpful because you can sleep more!!! and for example go to the library to borrow some books or just study is much easier if you live near.

Finally you have Covent Garden and and the center in front of your room.
