I was wondering what happened after a uni gave you an offer and when you go back (if invited) to go round and look again at the department specifically. I just got two offers tonight from Leeds and Sheffield (yay!!) and just not sure if you wait for a letter from them to invite you to a prospective students thing. Our school doesn't explain these things very well...
Well you see our falling apart history department, then find out they're about to build a MASSIVE multi-million pound replacement and you come to Sheffield Sheffield will send you details of post-application open days at your department and I would imagine Leeds will do the same.
Sheffield haven't been sending out offer letters (although this is just for single honours History), but about 3 weeks after being accepted I got an email inviting me on the post-app open days, which are in November and February.
Wahh kinda mixed signals there 0.o It's not my fault that are school are useless at guiding their students in any way possible. I just wanted to know if there was a certain procedure but at least now I know I just have to wait -_-
