ok people, does anyone know if york has a football team, cos if they do

it has a football team, best of luck cos it is highly competitive from what i heard. i know someone at cardiff who said that over 100 people trialled for 3 teams and they charged you £40 for the chance.

I really hope the rugby is good!!

Im scared I might miss the trials!!

One slight problem I have with York - no swimming pool

Is there a gym on campus? If so does anyone know how much it is n stuff?

Are there like lil social hockey/rugby/football teams? I used to play a bit but I'm really crap, small and unfit now, lol, so I don't really want to bother trying out for the proper teams. Just want a nice bit of sport that I can get my teeth into but don't have to worry about getting in or playing amazingly all the time.

40 quid to try out for the footy team??? That's mental! Must make a fortune!
