stomata experiment help pleaseee

heyy for my AS coursework i have to investigate the stomata density of a plant that produces vegetatively and see if there is any difference between parent and offspring! i have decided to do a spider plant, however noww i am really stuck in thinking of a method! does anyone have any ideas please will be greatly appreciatedd!!

Nail varnish a square on each of a series of leaves picked using a random algorithm.
Peel off the varnish and place one piece from each leaf onto a microscope slide.
Using a graticule count the number of stomata per unit area.
Document your results in a table and then check for statistically significant difference.
