Imagine how good they could be at maths. :colonhash: Not saying us ‘malis ain’t good at maths the constant money counting would tell you otherwise. :teehee:

Even though I'm super late: CRUNCHY NUT CLUSTERS FOR BREAKFAST FOR THR WIN. I don't mind kimiis, but I HATE Lahooh. (Inb4 everyone says I'm not a real Somali :frown: )

Random note: I actually made friends with a Somali person today, really good dude. Chances it's one of you lot are slim though. :p:

Lol I don't think you're not a real somali if you dislike lahooh. Baasto and Bariis however...

For me, a great part of my childhood was spent hating lahooh and eating bread instead until I discovered how nice it was with nutella :coma:

Don't knock it till you try it

Maraq wasn't that bad, but I wouldn't want to eat it if there are other foods available
Urgh, i hate Lahooh especially when my parents eat it with that smelly butter like stuff (i would sit out in the garden to avoid the smell). I like Malawax and also Sabaayad (sp?). I remember when i was in Somali last summer, i would spend hours peeling potatoes so that i could eat chips haha.

I HATE BAASTO. :P Not really, but I'm definitely starting to get tired of it (after 20 years, lol.) I usually mix it up with suugo (sp?) and cheese and then pop it in the oven/microwave so it melts. :coma:

Call it a 'hunch'. :P I'd laugh if it is one of you guys. Do any of you play Street Fighter or have heard of Casino Arcade?

Maraaq and lahooh? LMAO, that sounds HORRIBLE. I haven't heard my family eating maraaq and lahooh but I sure won't be surprised if they have.

That smelly butter stuff....what was it called again? I hate that stuff as well. And muqmad, HATE THAT STUFF WITH A PASSION.

Also goldenGAZE, the girl in your signature looks EXACTLY like someone I know. Is she Korean as well?

Random note #2: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somalian_cuisine There's a korean version on the sidebar. Wonder how many Koreans there are in Somalia/Somalis in Korea?

I do that sometimes but I don't put it in the microwave and usually eat it with chilli or liin dhanaan (if I spelt it correctly ), which reminds me of that nice baasto with digaag I had for lunch :coma:

I used to play street fighter but I don't think I was in London recently
