I have a random question, but can't find the answer anywhere :frown: so I wondered if anyone here knows:

How many children are born a day in the UK?

12 births per thousand per year. ~60 million = 60,000 * 12 = 720,000/365 = 1972.6 per day.

Interestingly, 25% of babies born in the UK have at least one foreign parent. I'm not sure how it's relevant but I thought I'd throw that in. :smile:

A large general hospital will deliver around about 4000 a year...
in other words way too many.
