Discuss the results in the context of previous findings, how the findings influence the body of scientific knowledge, the limitations of the experiment, and any research questions that are left unanswered by the report.

look at another scientific paper andsee the kinds of things they have written in the discssion

i just remembered our lecturers keep telling us that the discussion in a leb report should go from the paritcular to the more general, e.g. you should start with a discussion of the specific effects your experiment found, and generalise this to other research that has been done and the wider implications of the research
