Gap Year Resits

I was wondering if i was to do a few resits in my gap year which unis would automaticaly reject me?
e.g. oxbridge...
Does Nottingham reject

Does that mean they will accept me if i do a couple of resits in my gap year?
i cant see why not, im in a simular situation, it depends what course you want to do, i doubt they will if your doing medicine or something which requires all a grades but you should be ok if your not, having a good statement etc will also improve your chances

I think i have a good statement and ive applied for Physics this year but want to do Mechanical engineering and apply again. Just wondering if any other unis rejected.
