Talk to anyone studying in Oxford or Cambridge - due to term ending on December 1st or thereabouts, we pretty much celebrate Christmas a month earlier than the rest of the population. Our Christmas party and carol service were on the 25th November, and the college Christmas tree went up at about the same time
