lol yes it is compared to a prison...if you like your natural light you'll hate the kitchen..some have no windows. The rooms vary...the flat I visited wasn't too bad though. It is right by All Saints, well about a 3 minute walk away I would imagine. New Medlock has benefits like natural light, ensuite in some flats, but you pay the price for it tbh.
