In terms of getting money thrown at you, Trinity is right up there. In fact Trinity actually owns Robinson so... :wink:

I think for the MPhil it doesn't matter which college you apply to. Unless I'm mistaken the department will choose to accept or reject you. Then pass your files onto your first and second choice colleges. If they accept then you get a place. If they reject you still get a place but will end up at a college you didn't put down

That's true, Parkerpen, but the issue for the poster is funding. I guess Trinity would be a good bet, but I can't imagine even they give out a whole load of full fees and maintenance fundings. I'm applying for the same course as you and am in the same position as you, but am working on the assumption that unless I get the AHRC I'm not going to be able to do it.

(PS can you post your address so that I can hunt you down and kill you please? Less competition!)
