Open Day/'Informal Interview'

Hey guys. Got a letter from Exeter today to attend an Open Day where an 'Informal Interview' will also take place. Does this mean they will make me an offer/rejection based on the interview? Will I be offered/rejected in person? Thanks if anyone can help and sorry if there have been lots of threads like this before :smile:

They might make you an offer/rejection based on the interview - but most likely its just to get to know you! They shouldn't reject you in person - although Soton as good as told me I had an offer during my informal interview. I didnt have one at Exeter, but I assume it'll be along the same vein - sample lecture, campus/department tour, quick chat, ta-da done =)

I had one of those and the day before I was supposed to go they made me an offer. But i'm not sure if it is the same for other courses.
