Business school is good. Study at Wheatley... 15 minute bus ride from main campus. Teaching there is of a generally high standard with a few exceptions I've noticed. Marketing seems to be quite challenging... which reflects the high standard of the course. Option to take a placement year in year3 is a very good option and Brookes give you lots of help with that...

if you want to ask anything more specific then please feel free...

actualy i dont have much knowledge about the universities in Uk and im prefering London (for marketing and international management studies)......so im applying to the universities like -
1) Westminster University
2) Kingston
3) Oxford Brookes
4) brunel
5) London Metropolitan ( may be City instead.....heard alot bad about london metropolitan)
6) Queen Mary

So can u help in rating them??

No ratings accurately detail each uni... especially new universities like Brookes... but there are league tables to give you a rough idea...

you will probably receive better replies from the business forum on tsr. queen mary, brunel and brookes come to me first, but it all depends on what you want to learn (any specialisms?), where you want to study (busy, hectic london or sleepy, historical oxford) and where you wish to work after graduation (india? england?). i have friends who have graduated with business degrees from brookes and who now work in very desirable jobs earning nice wages, but that's partly because these people are very hard working and have work experience behind them. wheatly was a dump of a campus, but brookes campus generally is very nice.

well i'v already mentioned the specialism ie. marketing. now i hv applied to some other universities as well like- Lancaster, Exeter, Birmingham, Manchester, Bath, Kingston, Westminser and Oxford brookes. well i want to study at a place which is crowded and where i cud find some people from my religion. and if we talk about the job then most probably i will have to cum back to India after completing course, therefore the university should be well recognised in India.
So can you help now??
manchester is the uk's largest university, whereas lancaster seems to have a strong reputation for business (from what i've read). exeter and bath are smaller but with good uk reputations and pretty locations. birmingham and manchester are the cities with the most mulicultural/multifaith populations. i suspect that you are the only one that can judge how well a university is known in your own country. i suspect manchester is the most known on the grounds of it's size and international research/collaboration efforts, but i could be wrong for india.
