After offers...

After a university makes you an offer, do they all invite you to an open day?
I haven't managed to visit every single university I applied to, and so visiting it in an open day atmosphere would be ideal when it comes to making firm/insurance decisions.

I wouldn't say that all of the uni's would invite you to an open day - but the vast majority of them would do. Even if they don't, you can still go visit it yourself independently. Sometimes that's better anyway as you get to see the university when it's not going out of its way to impress you.

Some of them do, but a lot of them just put the information regarding their open days up on their websites.

Most send a confirmation letter, in that will be travel details and open day dates. Open days will usually be department open days, so one day the business school will have an open day. Then maybe the week after will be an open day for Medicine students etc.

Thanks for the responses!
I just realised that you can actually make decisions up until May, and some universities do have open days in April etc. - therefore that's another option!
