it's C4H9OH + 6.5O2 --> 4CO2 + 5H2O

this is how to remember it:
The number of moles of CO2 will be the number of carbon atoms there are in the equation.
example - there are 4 carbons, so there are four moles of carbon dioxide

The number of moles of water will be half the number of hydrogen atoms.
example - there are 10 hydrogen atoms, so there are five moles of water.

then you just count the number of oxygens and figure out the number of moles accordingly :smile:
