Re: edinburgh interview
hey, are you from england or wales (well anywer part from scotland)....this means they have started interviewing people down south. when did you get your letter about your interview?
from what ive heard about edin interviews is that they are quite formal but not like realy patronising or anything....but they do ask loads of questions on things like what are puppies vaccinated against...or other scientic questions. i think they may be looking to test your knowledge more than some other unis...such as notts which are looking to see how enthusiatic you are...of course you do still need the knowleege. -

hey
I had an edinburgh interview before the xmas holidays and they were really nice. All the people I know who applied there this year said they were really nice and they all got offers.
Advice I could say is know the basics of being in a small animal surgery like vaccines, worms, ticks, rabies etc. Also make sure you have your views on intensive farming etc and keep up to date with any current issues.
The questions they ask is stuff you probably should know from your work experience such as what happens during spaying or describe lambing etc. Know an odd intersting case aswell.
Just be yourself and try to have a conversation with them. Good luck though they are really nice and will make you feel comfortable.
Plus the tour is amazing might I add
all the best! -
Re: edinburgh interview
So edinburgh have finally started interviewing the rest of its applicants have they!!! I think its so unfair, we should all be treated equally and yes i know the english uni's dont understand the IB things you do up there but its discrimination i tell you!!! We are put through this agonising waiting game just because the UK cant agree on a united education system!!!
