Conditionals.

I've got 5 conditionals, and at the moment I'm looking to go to Birmingham to do History and English.

I need ABB, with the A in English Lang. However, in AS I messed up the exams pretty badly (got an e in Textual Commentary, D in desk study, C overall.) I'm retaking, but if I do mess up the exams, does that mean I'm 100% not in?

I know a conditional means you've got to meet the conditions, but is there anyway around it if you do do badly?

very unlikely, the uni gave you that offer and won't let u in if u don't get it, is pretty much how it works

You never know it depends on the uni, but i'd say unlikely.
I've applied to Birmingham for English and History as well...

They told me at one of the open days that they are quite strict on the A grade in an english subject, just because the english department are so over subscribed.

To be honest, we are quite lucky to have ABB offers, because their standard offer is AAB.

If you do badly, you can always call up the Uni and hope that they will let you in anyway.

If you've only just missed your grade (ABC instead of ABB for example) then you can ring up the university on results day and ask if they'll still accept you.
