Higher Accountancy or Economics

I want to study accountancy and finance when I leave school. In sixth year we can take higher accountancy or economics.

What are these subjects like and are they worth taking?

higher economics will provide you with skills and knowledge which will be relevant to everyday life as well as relevant work related activities.

accountancy will be far more job based with the sole intention of showing how accountancy works and will be relevant to the job.

so it depends if you want a general knowledge or a specific knowledge for going to uni.

Go for Higher Accounts I did it last year was a really good and useful subject, also did Higher Economics much preferred Accounts, oh and I got an A band 1 really easily :smile:
