Why do so many people (want to) do economics? That seems to have come from nowhere.

What are you on about?

Economics is the most applied to course on this website. It's not something many schools do, so I'm wondering why people choose it.

Finance is the biggest industry in UK, and they like economic graduates. 68 universities in UK offers economics or a variation of it, so clearly many schools offer it.
Its just so interesting!!!! Its a brilliant subject, it should be made compulsory!

Economics is a fascinating subject, and combines a wide array of skills that many employers love seeing, e.g. logic and analysis.

Medicine, Law, Economics, English and History, I reckon.

Vet Medicine, Medicine, Dentistry in roughly that order. People with great GCSEs, straight As at AS/A2 and loads of relevant work experience can still struggle to get an offer at all.

For AAA-AAB students applying to top universities: English, History, Economics, Law, judging by the numbers of people on here who end up with more rejections than offers.
