Mandarin - any help welcome
I'm trying to say the sentence "my house has 10 rooms". Now I know I'll need a measure word, and I also happen to remember from some corner of my memory that the measure word for rooms is jian1. But then I looked up the word for room in my dictionary and it says "fang2jian1". So "shi jian fang jian"? Sounds a bit stupid.
Am I wrong here? Or is there another way of getting around it? Thanks in advance.
