PLEASE HELP.........Biology Graph question

This graph has a mark scheme, but I am really confused because there are two questions that contradict themselves:
____________________
Q1:
Using the data in the bar chart, deduce the effect on the two cerebral hemispheres of opening only the right eye.

A1:
left hemisphere becomes less active than with both eyes closed;
left hemisphere is more active than with both eyes open;
right hemisphere remains more active than with both eyes closed;
right hemisphere becomes more active than the left hemisphere;
____________________
Q2:
Determine which hemisphere is more awake when the right eye is open.

A2:
left hemisphere

Q3:
Using the data in the bar chart, deduce how the left and right eyes and left and right hemispheres are connected.

A3:
left eye to right hemisphere and right to left

Don't the answers to question 1 and 2 contradict themselves. The answers are from the mark scheme, but I want to make sure that it is right.

I feel like the answer to question 2 is the opposite as seen in the graph, but I searched it online and it said that the it is always the opposite hemisphere of the brain that is active

PLEASE HELP, I AM CONFUSED :confused:

I would guess that more awake means less active, then it would make sense. I'm not sure though.
