Re: Money making ideas for uni?
Yeah I do that all the time. Not clothes though. I have about £2000 - £3000 (RRP) worth of electronics components, but the eBay value would probably be less than £100, so I'm reluctant to list them really. I've tried listing a few components separately (such as some IC's that are worth £5 each) but I only got about £1 each for them. Mind you I have about 300 more so if I list them all separately I might get more money.

Re: Money making ideas for uni?
Where? Doncaster? or somewhere in Pakistan? lol
I used to do what you do. There was a clothes shop near me selling 'Crosshatch' T-Shirts for about £6 - £10 each. For some reason there was a sudden demand for them on eBay, and second hand T-Shirts were selling for £20, even "worn once" ones were selling for 3 times the price I was buying them at, so I bought 5 and sold them for anywhere between £20 - £35 each, then bought about another 20 and sold those too. I made about £500 profit altogether! -
Re: Money making ideas for uni?
I've sold stuff on Ebay aswell, I 've made some money, but not much, probably about £100. I've thought about buying random things in the sale, that wouldn't even fit me, just so that I could sell them on Ebay in the hope of making a profit. I haven't done it yet though as its difficult to assess what will, and won't make a profit.

Re: Money making ideas for uni?I don't think that will really work, at least you'd need some clever ideas. Nowadays, ebay is full of random junk that people are trying to make profit from.(Original post by mariad)

Re: Money making ideas for uni?I've changed the post - it gives the non-referral link too. Hope it irritates you less now? although I'm not sure why it bothered you in the first place that I might've been making a few extra pennies from referalls... come on dude, we're all in the same boat!(Original post by Diminutive)
the only point of this entire thread was that the OP is advertising his/her affiliate link for the search engine thing.
