my school told me about a charity where you can go to africa and work as a GP for a medical gap year. (no degree or anything needed) google it
can you also get to do brain transplants, zombi cloning and other cool stuff ?

I'm doing a ski season.
It was a forced gap year, I didn't apply for medicine last year.
Luckily I work for a nice company who'd let me come home for interviews, most companies would have sacked me.
I've now got an offer finally!
But working for interviews and doing a ski season is awful, I'd say going travelling AFTER you've got an offer is better .

The start of a gap year is very hard if you have no offers and all your friends are going off to their dream unis, it's been the hardest year of my life but I've learnt so so much and I in know way regret it. I'm certain I'll enjoy uni more now AND hopefully be more motivated.
