Hey I'm thinking about applying for Chemistry next year at Uni but I'm worried I might need maths at AS level, I got an A in Maths at GCSE so will it matter? I'm also doing physics this year.

Thanks

AS maths would be useful, but it's not essential, and having physics will help. I'm sure you'll be fine. Best of luck with your application
I think AS level maths is a great boon. Chemistry is a lot harder without a good grasp of calculus (trust me I did it the hard way). Physics is not as helpful as it may appear as the terminology and concepts are somewhat different from those in chemistry, also a large amount of the A-level course is spent on unrelated matters such as electronics and mechanics, biology is much more useful.
