What is the social life like in plymouth and exeter and what is pms like as a whole when it comes to socialising and nights out? are there loads of clubs and bars in plymouth
I gather not many people from PMS are on here....so to those that are at any med school
What is social life like in general at medicine?.... For those that have some experience of it..
It's completely what you make it.
In first year, if you live in halls there is likely always something happening and some people will be very sociable. There is always the outside chance that all your hallmates are asocial or antisocial but then you can always get to know people in clubs and socs.
Picking sociable housemates in second year (and above) is also going to make a big difference... I guess in the 'no-one is in, so i'm going out to meet new people' or 'no one is in, it's so depressing' ways and vice versa.

Yeh definitely..ive heard medicine is a really sociable course....all medics are very sociable...find that rather ironic as its such a demanding course
