What goes into clearing?

Where can I find out what goes into clearing and what kind of grades would be accepted?
E.g I expect Law won't go into clearing, so what subjects do?

Those that have spaces presumably.

Logically therefore not those that are in high demand... Maths did 4 years ago...

It's not necessarily subjects, as far as I'm aware. Obviously Medicine probably won't be there, but Law will be there just at the less competitive unis.

Little idea on grades, but with it being Clearing, they should be more relaxed than their usual typical offer because they need to fill their spaces.

On the UCAS forum, there was a clearing 2007 thread on the first page, someone had listed loads of courses, including Law, and which unis were in Clearing for them.
