Freshers 2008 - Join the Real Ale and Cider Society
CLUB ACTIVITIES
Socials - We have a weekly social in town, going to the best pubs in Canterbury.
Brewing - We have our own brewing equipment which members can use to brew their own beer.
Tasting - We have tasting meetings where people bring their local ale along for others to try.
Trips - We hope to have some trips soon to breweries and cider farms.

Is there a wine society? I dislike beer and am not that fond of cider..though cider and black is quite nice.
we drink wine as well!
We have a few members who drink wine and we're going to hopefully visit some vineyards.
I love cider

I've just remembered something that the "seminar-lady" said on my UCAS visit day.
She was talking about societies and mentioned that a group of students were so appalled that they were at a University that DIDN'T have a drinking society, so they decided to form their own.
That's INSANE!!!!!
...not having a drinking society, I mean.
This particular group that she was referring to, is it you guys?
And by "you guys", I mean of course, quite specifically, Random-bloke.
She was talking about societies and mentioned that a group of students were so appalled that they were at a University that DIDN'T have a drinking society, so they decided to form their own.

No, but the student guide who was leading our little group was.
I guess the seminar speakers all have the same speech prepared if the american lady talked about it as well.

yes, we charge the minimum allowed by the union, which is 3 pounds, which is a bargain!
