How long after interview to hear back?

I had an interview wednesday..I havn't heard yet. Bad news?

depends what the job is and how many people they had left to interview. Also remember friday through till monday will have no post being bank holidays and again depending on the job may have nobody in work. wouldnt start worrying just yet!

When I had my interview at Sainsburys, I was interviewd on sunday then told the next day on monday. Was quite wierd though, they phoned me at like 10pm and told me i had the job. But yeh, depends on how many other applicants they have to interview and what personell and managerial staff they have in at the time to decide.
Don't worry yet. They might have interviewed people over more than one day, and the bank holidays may have held up their decision.
I was interviewed for retail job on Sunday and got called Tuesday offering me the job. But bank holidays will hold it up definitely.
