is there some kind of waiting list you can go on for a single room? I got a double room in Campbell House East even though my ultimate preference was single room

Re: The UCL accomodation threadyup, just rang them and they said i could appeal but it might be rejected or go on the swap list in october or something, it's just a really big problem for me cos i cannot cope sharing with someone i'm reallly not that kind of person. good luck with yours hope you get what you want though(Original post by bubble123)

Re: The UCL accomodation threadMan that really sucks, I'm sorry. Seriously I'm so not happy with them already and I haven't even been told where I am yet. I am like you - I will not be able to cope with sharing. I was at boarding school for 7 years and had to share most years apart from 6th form and I know that I just will not be able to do it based on that experience! If I get put in a double room I'll be finding my own accommodation for sure....(Original post by Zehra)

Re: The UCL accomodation threadBelieve it or not, they actually lost my application for accommodation and I am now out on the streets basically, until the waiting list gives me somewhere to live...
No replies to my complaint either. -

I have been offered a room at Ifor Evans but would gladly take something nearer such as College Hall or Connaught Hall. -

I've been hanging around here for a while now. I really want to know my accomodation now that everyone is getting theirs! I have a horrible feeling I'm going to be sharing!
I have a question also, what is the heating like in halls and are we allowed to bring electric heaters with us? I get cold really easily!

I think I might get shared accom too, as I said I wouldn't mind that much and I'm under 19... But it'll be okay if we like the person we're with, I'm sure
In fact, maybe we'll share together - I'm a cold mortal too! And am dreading fights over the thermostat! x -
