Re: Liber Question Time - Ask a Libertarian
What to you guys think about the idea of the UK becoming 'Britzerland'?
-
Re: Liber Question Time - Ask a LibertarianI think that although it would be nice to have our own freedoms clawed back from Brussels - we are too involved in the EU that complete isolationism would not work.(Original post by tehFrance)

I agree with the EU as an economic union, but not a political one. European countries have fought for hundreds of years for freedom from the colonial masters of Europe - and it's about time they don't get dragged into another one. -
Re: Liber Question Time - Ask a LibertarianThat's pretty well why the Europeans hate us so much.(Original post by MacCuishy)

Re: Liber Question Time - Ask a LibertarianWhy, because we kept on winning(Original post by obi_adorno_kenobi)

Re: Liber Question Time - Ask a LibertarianToo many socialists, we need world domination first(Original post by D.R.E)
Why would you support a European economic union when we could have free trade with the entire planet?
-
Re: Liber Question Time - Ask a LibertarianI'm not saying that we weren't a bunch of colonialists either(Original post by obi_adorno_kenobi)
Not sure "winning" is really the right word for it.
-
Re: Liber Question Time - Ask a LibertarianYou'll find that I'm a libertarian - not a Tory.(Original post by obi_adorno_kenobi)
That's a markup for a Tory. Normally you're blind to the way Britain waltzed around the world as the pre-eminent colonial power in history. -
Re: Liber Question Time - Ask a LibertarianI'd rather the whole world had free trade with the whole world.(Original post by D.R.E)

The CAP is an absolute disgrace. -
Re: Liber Question Time - Ask a LibertarianCAP is one of the most disgusting policies of the EU.(Original post by Keckers)
