Am hoping we destroy Peterborough too.. our record is 5 and 1 against them so we stand a good chance. You would have given us a better game though 100% even if you played like c*** the local rivalry would make up for it lol.
Aww shame you're not coming up just 2 weeks to go now and i can't wait lol x
The only thing that would be more intense in terms of rivalry than a Bracknell V Guildford playoff, would be a Bracknell V Guildford final. I'm gutted i can't go up to it as it will be an awesome weekend. Oh well, I’ll defo try and go next year!

Been a Penguins fan since I was ill with cancer and inspired by Lemieux and a loud and proud Cardiff Devil! Congrats to the Panthers on another play-off Championship!

Been a hockey fan since 1999 when Stevie Y, Mike Modano, Brendan Shanahan and Dominik Hasek were gods. I never really had a favourite team in the NHL but I usually support Canadian teams (especially the Canadiens and Flames), especially if they're playing an American team. I remember the 2009/10 season and the amazing playoff run by the 8th seed Canadiens when they beat the #1 Capitals and #4 Penguins but got eventually defeated by the Flyers.

I've been watching the NHL a little bit lately but not that much cause there are few streams that work for me (stupid resnet) and if they do, they're often bad quality. I'd love to get NHL Gamecenter but it's like £15 a month.

Damn, Fleury sucks ass. I kind of feel bad for the Pens.

    Some good fights though

The D was f***ing terrible. The cheap shots were worse and the pensblog went into a meltdown.

    The whatnow?

I suppose one of the filler teams has to win it every now and then just to keep things interesting.

Easter conf still has some viable candidates that are not filler teams, and I'm under the vague impression that the cup will stay in the east.

Agree, and I think the Kings will win it in 6. I don't know how they fell to 8th seed, they're purpose built for the playoffs and completely rolled over Vancouver and St Louis who were both highly touted as being finalists. I think the Rangers could have a tough time at the Devils, wouldn't be surprised if that goes to 7. Kings in 5 against the Yotes though

    Re: Ice Hockey
For the western finals, I'd say Kings in 5, or 6 in case they manage to screw up.

For the eastern finals, though I might be a bit biased, I'd say Devils in 7. I know rags took the first game, but if anyone actually looked at the entire game, they were outplayed and outhustled for 80-90% of the game. The only thing that worked excellently for them was the shot blocking. The first goal they scored (in the 3rd period, mind you) was a lucky deflection in front of the net from a shot from the blue line. Second goal was a weak goal that we gave up.

I never thought we'd make it past the Flyers, but now that we have, I think we can go to the cup finals. But again, I might be biased

that's kind of how the rangers work though. They haven't played particularly well all play-offs. Needed 2 (and will now need a 3rd) game seven.

With Lundy in goal it has so far kind of worked out. But if he has an off day they ship in 5.

Game 5 was on Lundqvist alone. It was one of our worst games in this series, but we still managed to go up 3-0 in the first, and except maybe one of those, all were softies.

My prediction is Rangers take game 6 in OT, Devils in 7.

As my favourite NHL team (Toronto Maple Leafs) are completely useless and have failed to get into the play offs yet again I've been cheering on the New Jersey Devils
