Have i left gaining success in my as levels too late?
Its now only a few weeks until the exams, i'm absolutley ****ing myself, i've done no revision and very little work over the year. I'm now worried that i'm just going to muck up and i'll have to settle for a rubbish university next year, i know its stupid of me to do this little work over the year and i know what underachieving feels like having experienced it with my GCSE's.
I don't want this to happen.
Have i left things too late or is there still time to get success? -
Re: Have i left gaining success in my as levels too late?
There's still time, just work your arse off from this point on. Maybe you won't do as well as you would've done if you had worked throughout the year, but there's nothing you can do to change that, you can only act from this point onwards. Where there's a will, there's a way

no As's are not even that hard just do every pasy paper in the last 3years both june and jan and make notes on key things shouln't be too bad just focus on 3 or 4 subjects 5 may be to much and just go at it hard in the next few weeks
p.s an identical thread was started about a week ago why dont you read that for further advice as many people are getting slightly annoyed with these types of threads -
Re: Have i left gaining success in my as levels too late?
I realised 2 weeks before my Part I exams last summer (first uni exams that count) that I'd spent too much time rowing and no time working. I got my head down and did min 9 hours a day for the next 2 weeks - got one of the highest marks in my year. It's doable. Which subjects?

Re: Have i left gaining success in my as levels too late?
There's still time to succeed. There's a good month left so work hard. I completely wasted my holidays but to be honest, I work a lot better under pressure and most (if not all) of my grades are a reflection of last minute cramming the night before. It's not ideal but if worst comes to worst...
Did you sit any modules in January? -
Re: Have i left gaining success in my as levels too late?
No way it isn't too late! Don't use that as an excuse. I was in New zealand this time last year and hadn't done any revision when i went back to school, my first exam was 20th of May or something. I did much better than i ever expected, just start revising now, ease yourself into it, it is never too late.

Don't worry about not starting your revision by now. For me, success is all about the cramming, and that doesn't need to kick in just yet. However, it all depends on what exactly you mean by having done no work throughout the year - if your grasp of the material is very sketchy, you should get down to some serious work right away.
