Are you going to apply for law? If so, you might want to revise when to use 'were' and when to use 'where', at least, as it requires good verbal intelligence. I'm trying not to be a grammar pedant, but honestly, it's worse than they're/there/their....
On topic, my friend is doing Law with Spanish Law. She got 8A* 2A, 4A at AS Level in respected subjects.
Offers from Oxford, Durham, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester.
My friend has applied for Law with German/German Law. She has had offers from: Warwick (european law AAAc) which is her firm, Exeter (magister AAB) which is her insurance, and the other unis/grades I'm unsure about, but I think it's Birmingham, Sheffield, UCL.
GCSEs: A*A*AAAAABB AS: ACCCD A2 Predictions: AAB (plus a B in General Studies) LNAT: 16
Not amazing but not rubbish either, bearing in mind she's also a year ahead and was at an international school for two years in Dubai prior to joining this school. I also read her PS and it was pretty good. I think she's stressed about getting the grades now though!
Yes, sorry about that, you don't have to do the LNAT for most universities but quite a lot of the "top" ones requires it. Having said that, quite a few of the "top" ones don't.
babybarrister - can i ask what your LNAT score was?
what is a above average and thus average score for the LNAT when being considered by Oxford (obv. excluding 30/30 lol)?
I got 23/30. The national average was 17 but I don't know what the oxbridge average was- sorry. I think there is a thread knocking about somewhere which lists the LNAT scores of students and the university's from which they got offers- in the law forum most likely.
