Does this gap year exist?
I'm seriously considering a gap year but i can't find the type of one i'm looking for. I don't have a great job so i probably couldn't scrape together much more than £500 so go away with. I guess it's negotiable with parents help but i don't want that at all so anything i asked for i would have to pay back asap.
Anyway what i am after is:
Up to twelve months
North America
Not fussed if it is paid or unpaid but if it is unpaid i need accomodation paid for..
I don't want to do teaching
Any help!?? Ideally i want it to be reasonably cheap to get over and get settled and then support myself through working unless it's volunteered of course.
The main trouble is they all last about four weeks or just a summer....i was looking for one which you just stay as long as you like? Am i just dreaming?!
I know there are hundreds of gap year companys but i just wondered if anyone has had any experience of gap years like the above?
