Re: Asian and Middle Eastern StudiesOh my bad, mine is actually in the faculty. The other one says the place is a letter and a number but not which college or if it's in the faculty. But the interviews aren't Japanese professors so I'm presuming it'll be at the college. :L Complicated. XD

I have a few question about the course and I thought someone here could help
I've been studying Chinese for 3 years now and this year I got the HSK 3. In August, I'm going to China for a year for my gap year - I'll be doing a one-year Chinese language program at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
I still don't really know if I want to study Chinese at uni but I hope my gap year will help me figure this out.
So I wanted to know more about Chinese at Cambridge. What do you think of the course ? How is the level of Chinese language ? Is the study of modern China and modern Chinese important or is the classical aspect emphasized ?
