Speech Therapy as reserve

I was wondering if it was possible to choose speech therapy as a reserve choice?

I'm really set on becoming a doctor but if I didn't get the grades I'd want a job where I was working in a "profession allied to medicine" and speech therapy seems really interesting.

Has anyone on here chosen it as a reserve?

It is, but almost as competative as medicine... The work experience you need is rather specific too, and I'm not sure how you would get around the PS issue...

I would agree with fluffy, youre going to be far better off choosing something like biomedical science, that said, there isnt anything stopping you from applying, and it definately wont hinder your medicine application.

If you want to do medicine that badly, reapplication would be the better option to have as a backup other than a degree.
