CPT6 help

for my cpt6 coursework i am making a hotel booking system. i am having some trouble with the tables though.

so far i have a room details table, guest details, booking details & a room booking table.

basically, i want to be able to search criteria (arrival date, departure date, party size etc.) and then search for suitable rooms.
the book the rooms and confirm it by making a receipt (probably a report on access)
i want to make sure rooms can't be double booked
& produce a list of rooms that are booked at any one time

would these tables be enough?

i am so confused and can't set it straight in my head. i am so behind, it has to be done on the 5th may :frown: .
Hi there, your project is in very similar vein to mine. In order to prevent duplicate bookings, you may need an intermediate table which holds the date and the room number. It will probably lie between booking and room. Interesting that you've made a guest table, never thought of doing that, but yeah apart from the new table, the others SHOULD be sufficient. But don't hold me to it. I forget what tables I have :s-smilie:
