I'm not sure if you may have already included this site because I didn't really read the whole lot... but its really useful for hurricane case studies, there are loads of them!

I saw this page and thought I would add my colleges webpage, it is very good if you are studying AQA B and it specialises in Physical Geography. It is good for GCSE and AS/A2
    Check it out

I remember from my A2 course that you need to keep up current affairs to make sure you can apply what u learn to everyday events, so a good news website might be necessary to get information for case studies and stuff.
here is one that is quite good www.newsnow.co.uk :p:

But they have very little info. It'd be nice if someone could find a good one on Malthus and Boserup, more on their ideas and limitations to them.

A-Z geography... "hodder and sloughton" series. I've got them in Physics and maths, and found them quite useful. See the URL below.

A much better book is the one below! It helped me get from a U to an A with two days of solid revision! i'm serious, The book in this series saved my butt at both AS and A2 geography. It's all about intense last minute...right Geogger?

    i got the ISBN:

    maths one: 0340872772
    Physics: 0340872721

search these on amazon and the book will pop up.

These are really "for fun" books. They are not much use to A-levels to be honest. Just an extra curricular read.

for maths, i just used my school notes...they were sufficient. for physics i used letts one and for geog i used: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...514140-7074028

    hope that helps

I've been trying to find this statistic, it's more of a Human Geography question:

what's a relatively recent (as recent as can be found) stat on the number of Core vs. Periphery employees of transnational corporations?

    Rural urban continuum
Does any Geographer have any useful links to websites where the rural urban continuum is investigated, anything would be helpful. Or in fact anything on the above topic. Thanks

Edexcel do NOT provide ANY past papers for Geog online - you can buy them or your teacher may have previous exams as hard copies, but there are never any online!
I know that, but there are still links to Edexcel AS Chem, Bio, Phy Papers. WHY NOT Geo?????

Can't you ask your teacher for some? If not the philip allan books often have practice exam questions in them
