need to know if is syallabus A or B, and which tier either higher or foundation as they are both different - if its for A then i should have them for that paper .... Grade boundaries are determined for each paper by a panel of specialists who look at the work produced use data gathered from centre therefore they vary (and could be a lot)for each paper

It doesn't say what specification it is on the exam, but it's code is 2357/02. It's higher tier, from 13 Jan 2005? Do you have the boundaries? Thanks

Ok, so basically I have to self teach all the theory myself, so I don't know anything about grade boundaries. I just did a Paper 1 (higher tier), the Jan 05 one. It's a paper out of 60. Does anyone know the rough grade boundaries?

Thanks

If your doing the same course as I am ( I think you are) the overall mark for an A* is 360/400 and for an A 320/400. That is UMS though by the way, not RAW.

At the moment my total is at something like 338 and want to get it to an A* so retaking Paper 1 and also resubmitting project 2 coursework. Paper 1 when I first took it a couple of years ago I didn't actually revise at all so that's what brought it down!

Out of interest, how did you go aobut revising for paper 1 as we haevn't been given any info? The exam is 2 weeks away lol.

Well our teacher gave us all the stuff on a CD with power point presentations, so I made notes on all of them, but taht was a lot of pages. But that wasn't revising, that was just learning. I haven't really started the revison yet.

I asked my ICT teacher today, and he said about 43+/60 is an A*. Thought tht was quite low
