    Irish University Application (UK Student)
Hi i am a student living in london. Currently studying maths and chemistry at a-level and only doing physics to as-level. This happened due to the quality of our physics teaching. I was just wondering what kind of situation i am in (Im pretty stressed) . Wondering if i would have enough points to do a course in Ireland. I am looking to study Civil Enineering in Ireland and specifically limerick university. However due to my grades which are hopefully 2 B's at a-level and a C at physics as-level. Is there any information anyone can offer to help. I have checked the CAO website and University of Limerick website but i would still like some advice. Thanks very much!

Well, according to Uni Of Limerick's website:
    'Entry Requirements:
Applicants are required to hold at the time of enrollment the established leaving certificate (or an approved equivalent) with at least Grade C3 in two higher level subjects and a Grade D3 in four ordinary or higher level subjects (including Mathematics; Irish or another language and English).
In addition applicants are required to hold at least the following in the leaving Certificate (or approved equivalent) Grade C3 in higher level mathematics and a Grade D3 in a higher or ordinary level paper in any one of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Physics with Chemistry, Engineering, Technical Drawing, Biology, Agricultural Science, Construction Studies, Technology or Applied Mathematics.'

I just don't know how to convert those grades to A Levels, sorry. Why don't you apply through UCAS Extra for Civil Engineering?
