Bad habit before A Levels?

Well basically this is what i have been doing..

for example, maths:

I need 360 for my C which is all i need to get into the course i want to do.

My AS left me on 229 and I did my S1 in january leaving me on 300 overall currently.

Therefore from the remaining 200 possbile marks in the 2 papers i need 60..
30% a paper dont seem to bad lol.

However everytime i tell someone i do this they criticise me saying im just going to end up cutting myself short of what im really capable off.

Thoughts?
ignore em, your life....i do the same:wink: haaha
I don't think it particularly matters. You need 120/200 for a B, which doesn't seem too bad anyway. I wouldn't spend a lot of time revising maths, and just try my best in the exam.

Ive worked out my predicted grade combinations about 200 times and also gone on the UCAS calculator website over 300 times.. ive worked out every possible combination.. so dont worry.. just do whatever works for you.. just dont regret anything..

I really should follow my own advice.. hmmm..
