Help!
Okay, I really need some reassurance/ revision tips/anything to calm me down!
(sorry it's so long)
Basically, I've been doing AS maths in a year and I'm hoping to study Natsci at Cambridge, fingers crossed, so it's kind of important I get that A...
However, we have two maths teachers (one for pure and one for mechanics + pure) and the mechanics teacher was away until after Christmas so we had a substitute. This guy, fantastic though he was at maths, was a bit too over passionate and went far too fast, taught the whiteboard rather than us and we finished M1 in about 2 months flat. Thing is, none of us understood a thing, so when our teacher finally returned, we were all very under confident and it took us ages to get back on track (I got 42% or thereabouts in an M1 mock, ouch). We started M1 from scratch after Christmas so we got really behind with everything else.
(I should probably also mention that every year before us had 3 separate teachers and got through things far quicker, but we've lagged behind so much)
now however, I'm more confident in mechanics but I'm utterly struggling with C4- it's my last day before study leave tomorrow and we've not even finished the last chapter, Integration, yet. I don't understand anything from Integration by substitution onwards...and I've not started revising at all, for any of my 6 modules and my confidence has plummeted completely.
Any words of wisdom/reassurance? Or am I pretty much doomed lol?
Oh, and sorry for the rant! :o
