i don't know, but i don't think you'd want to. you're probably thinking it would look good on your application, yes? i couldn't have done it after as- i did get an a at both levels but improved so much inbetween.

Silly question, but do you have to have done an A-level in English before you take the AEA? So, could I take it even though I'm just doing AS?

My teacher did try to persuade me to do it then, but I wanted to wait so I'd feel more confident. It's a personal thing really - if you think you have sufficient breadth of knowledge and the confidence then go for it, and good luck!

We had a break from the metaphysical poets in my last lesson and studied some contemporary poetry - my favourite!! :biggrin:

We read a lovely poem called 'Book Ends' by Tony Robinson, and have been asked to look at one called 'Forest Children' (I think that's it?) for next week. Anyone read either of them?
