Do you prefer british Cult Films or American Cult Films? And, do they have a different aesthetic?

I was going to say British straight away, but then thinking about it many of my favourite cult films are American.

Let's say British for now anyways.

What do you mean by "cult"? Giving some examples of each might be useful

America, because of the sheer volume/output.

But British films do have their moments. The Wicker Man, for instance.

Withnail & I is one of my favourite British 'cult' films

But then, Pulp fiction is one of my favourite films of all time, whether it'd be classed as a cult film any more seeing as it is pretty well known now.
