Yep most probably, it did come up last year though..

Personally I'd say the hardest topics are...

Heart
Bones - (classification, etc)
Ranges of movement available at joints + joint types..

And even then, they're not too hard.. You can even slightly enjoy pe exams! Haha!

I'm doing it too. It should go well. The only thing I find confusing is knowing which muscles allow what movement at what joint (abduction, adduction, etc).

I'm doing OCR & I don't think there's that many 1 mark questions on that. Not sure though. If anyone's got any more info it will be greatly appreciated.

EdExcel has loads of one mark questions...but it also has loads of tables with about 6 marks.

I think it'll be easy.

We're guarenteed to have questions on Physical, Mental, Social well-beings, Methods of Training, Principles of Trainings, Stuff on fitness, Health components, skill components, circulatory, respiratory, injuries, diet, bones & joints, muscles.

And I know all of it to be honest, because I've got a really good teacher who demands quite a lot of us.

I'm hoping for an A* to be honest.

Edexcel only has one mark questions now, doesn't it? (Or tables which are one mark per box effectively). Which is good - no long winded descriptions!
I should be okay, but it depends on what comes up.

I'm doing ocr long course tomorrow. I,ve got A* in coursework & practical at the moment but am unsure what I'll need to get tomorrow to secure the A*. I've looked on the website but it doesn't make much sense. If anyone knows, can they let me know?

Thanks.

Good luck tomorrow everyone.

I'm not sure if it has changed.. but I also got an A* in that stuff and was told even if I don't write anything in my paper i'd already have a C. And I thiiink the % for getting an A* with an A* in practical & coursework was pretty low, like 60% or something.
Good luck!
I've got my AS PE exam on tuesday - eek!

Thumbs up Re: Physical Education

How did you people find the exam today?
Also about grade bounds, if you got 100% in coursework and prac's then you'll need 61% in the exam for an A*. My school worked it all out and told everyone what they need. It seems you will need around 81% overall for an A*.
I reckon i got the 61% i needed for the A*; wasn't too hard.
Anyone get 100% in their coursework + prac's and analysis?

i got full marks for practical:

10 - Rugby (represent national team, so I got an automatic 10)
10 - Volleyball
10 - Swimming
10 - Football

For analysis, got 20 out of 20 for rugby.

I got an A* at the end :P (did my GCSE PE last year)

I got 98% for my practical. Errm todays paper was really easy. I only needed 42/80 for an A, and i think i'll definitely have got that. Fingers crossed.

OCR exam was good this morning, pretty easy questions.
Think the timing's a bit long though - everyone finished within an hour or so.
