Default Part time work
 
Hey people,

Can anyone guide me as to how many hours one works pers day as a part time worker?
I'll be moving onto university soon, and would probably be doing part time where the miminum wage is 8.40$ an hour...
Is it possible to make 10 000$ a year to pay off my living costs?

part time work is considered to be less than 30 hours per week
which means that on 8.40/hr you will get 252/wk which works out about 13,000/yr

but if you work only 40 weeks per year, or work 24 hours per week, you should still get over 10,000/yr

aryte that sounds decent...taking into account the 4 month summer holidays where i plan to work full time..
