Exam stress during the exam?
How do you cope with it?
I have Crohn's disease, which can be triggered heavily by stress. As I've been quite unwell this year, I've had a whole new set up for me. I am getting both extra time, and permission to leave the exam hall for the bathroom with an invigilator. These have been put into place to make me feel more relaxed, therefore less likely to trigger any nasty symptoms. I've never had to leave an exam hall in the past, but recently I've become more and more anxious thinking about it.
I'm sitting my Adv Higher Maths exam on Tuesday which is 3 hours long (with my extra time I get 4 hours :|), and I can't contemplate sitting there for that amount of time. It makes me feel really uneasy just thinking about it.
Cos of the nature of my illness, I always try to avoid eating on the day of the exam, but I feel doing this won't give me the stamina to sit and concentrate for 3-4 hours.. o.O
So enough of the rambling, anyone got any tips on coping during the exam?
